Who is Bohemian Moon?
May 30th, 2008 by BohemianMoon
Well I obviously care because I am she.
Why should you care? You shouldn’t necessarily.
Why read my blog? You shouldn’t necessarily.
But just in case you may want to, this is my argument for me:
I am (let me see how many adjectives I can come up with in under a minute…….ready, lets go!) :
Fun…..caring…….outspoken……..some times a bitch…… creative……. loving…….a good wife……..a great, yet doubtful (sometimes) Mum……..protector……..rebel………I have a dark sense of humor……an inuitive empath………activist………..artist……….creator………mouth like a sailor………….
BEEP! Time’s Up!
Ok, so they are not all adjectives, but you get the drift!
I live in a crazy ass 170 year old money pit in upstate Western New York with my clairvoyant husband (David James), empathic/intuitive artist son Torin (who is back from university temporarily), our horse dog, Labradoodle Kyla, and feline babies Dali, Belle, Stripy Cat, Rastus and Beelzebub. Also in residence are three spirits, two of whom (both female) have been identified, and one male who we previously had, with “affection”, named “Creepy Dude”. Creepy Dude is becoming less creepy after I finally named him Tom and invited him into my art studio. He had been hanging on the studio stairs for months and I told him one day that his choices were to either come on in and grab a brush, or find some place else to hover. He has never really grabbed a brush and I don’t know if he hangs there when I am not, but he seems to be there quite often when I am. He is becoming a friend……which is a little weird, considering I didn’t like him for the longest time.
So in further support of my case, I should, at the very least, get props for making friends with a male spirit in which I suspect wasn’t the nicest to women in his lifetime and dealing with the other two that seem to have a penchant for filling the tub in one of our bathrooms at least once a month…..they always leave the water running too and we always seem to catch it right before a potential catastrophe.
I want props for a mouth like a sailor, too, okay?
What do I do up here on the almost 11 acres that is overwhelming on a daily basis to keep up with (what the hell WERE we thinking anyway?) I try to……well……..keep up.
It ain’t easy.
And that is what this blog is about. A place for me to muse about my life, love, work, art, relationships (familial and otherwise), and keeping up with all of them. A place me to record this almost bizarre (at times) journey that I have been on for the past 40+ years. A place for me to, once and for all, let people know that psychic readers are not all knowing and have issues/fears/dreams in life just like you do.
A place for me to openly “hide” without, I hope, censorship of myself.
A place for you to hide, without, I hope, censorship of yourself.
So please join me………….or don’t………I won’t call you a bitch either way. But if you do read, you may be calling me one a time or two!
And I am good with that:)
Moon

I truly wish you had allowed someone like me to edit your post about the Gosselins. It is very good — but needs editing and proofreading.
For example, the Gosselins do not make $60K per episode. It is more like $6K. If readers know that one fact is not true, they won’t believe anything.
Thanks for the post, anyway.
(a moderator of GWoP)
This comment would be better served if it was actually responded to in the correct entry.
However, I do invite you to prove your claim that the Gosselin’s pull 6K per episode.
I think all readers would be interested in that proof.
On the flip side, do you have proof of your claim of 65k an epi??? It would help to clarify that point….
Maybe I’ll hang out here also. Found you from GWoP. A great site, but maybe a little two fast paced for me.
I’m not big on commenting. I’ve been poking around reading your musings(?). Interesting.
I like multimdimentional people. Glad I found you.
I appreciate the fact that you are blogging simply for your own enjoyment and to deliver commentary for others to discuss and comment on. I do not have the time to create a page as you did,so i simply browse and hopefully find something that piques my interest.
Many people spend their time and energy on the irrelevant, such as pointing out others spelling errors or grammatical mistakes. That is of no interest to me.And it seems apparent that you do not dwell on this either, you spend time replying to the issue at hand, which i appreciate. You are witty and intelligent without gloating.I respect that as well.
Keep blogging and sharing, that is what the Internet is all about, and it is often taken for granted.

I appreciate your comments. As I stated under the comments of “Jon and Kate………..Ain’t So Great”, the figure is a purported figure………that is why I qualified my statment in my piece as such.
FWIW, it is now actually purported to be upwards of $70,000. They must have gotten a raise between pedicures and massages in Hawaii.
One thing is for damn sure, though, TLC and Figure 8 aren’t talking, which is curious to me. Methinks it just may put a little bit of a damper on those love offering donations in addition to the photographs they are selling at every show for $20.00 a pop.
Perhaps people would not be so giving should they know that J$K are selling their kids’ souls bit by bit weekly for a mile high piece of the pie. Though, I do have to admit that anyone viewing the show would have to be a complete idiot not to see it themselves.
And to anyone thinking that Jon and Kate Plus Eight is a “Reality” Series, think again. There is NO such thing, and as a matter of fact, anyone that has one iota of observation skills, knows that these are staged events.
Look for my next blog entry, as the owner of Figure 8 Films, in a newpaper interview last March, states as such.
People are so gullible………….a very sad commentary, indeed.
I feel sorry for the fans that have been duped, particularly the ones that donated to this farce…..you know, the ones that are left picking up the broken pieces of their Jon and Kate Plus Eight fantasy.
Catronia~ I appreciate you:)
I do hope that you will hang around!
I really take offnse to being referred to as “a complete idiot”, as I watch the show and DO NOT share your OPINIONS about the family!! Nor do I feel I have been duped!! However, maybe you have been conditioned or even brainwashed by other J&K haters into thinking the same as they do, or maybe all this can be attributed to delusions, paranoia, mental illness, since you yourself admitted to having hallucinations of ghosts. If you had wanted people to take you seriously, you should’ve left those items out when describing yourself. While reading your blog, I actually read the entire piece along with the comments, thinking maybe you were onto something, until I read your bio, then all I was wondering was what you were on!!!! Sorry, you almost had me until the ghost stuff!! LUCKY ME!!!
#8 Michelle~
I am unsure of where I referred to you as a “complete idiot”. Feel free to point that out to me.
You are a fan of the exploitation of children. That is ok. If you are……..You OWN it, Girl!
I don’t base my opinion on other’s opinion. A very curious thing about getting a good education is that one learns how to become a free and critical thinker. I accomplished that around 4th grade or so. It made the middle school years a breeze:)
For the record, to you and anyone else that possibly wants to try and use the wacko metaphysical/paranormal insult card, you really need to come up with something that is going to WOW me; something off the CHARTS clever, because I have heard it all, lol.
And while we are on the subject of free and critical thinking, (or at the very least a minute or two with Google) a couple of points here:
1. People who see/feel ghosts do not hallucinate them, unless, of course, they may have a mental health issue such as schizophrenia or another form of dementia. Then it is always the question of whether they were really seeing a spirit, or hallucinating it.
As for myself, I am not planning to hit dementia for at least another 40+ years, but I would be more than happy to report back then, as perhaps I will be seeing them.
As it stands now, I mostly feel them, as I am an Empath.
2. A great resource on the web on the subject of ghosts is http://www.ghostvillage.com ~ you will find more scientists on that site than not.
3. At least a third of the world believe in ghosts, and even more in an afterlife. Again, G-O-O-G-L-E is your friend!
4. I have been writing my blog for months now, and why the hell would I censor who I am for anyone or any article I write?
Do you not think that metaphysicians/ believers in ghosts and an afterlife should be taken seriously? Is that the weak and misguided point that you were trying to make?
I know who I am:) LUCKY MEEEEEEEEEEEEE !
I just have to ask. What do you and your husband have in your mouths?
Is it licorice?
I love your blog. It’s wonderful to read your smart, logical and well written musings. You actually bring some common sense to the Internet! Keep up the good work.
#10 Wendy~
Thanks for your kind comments, they are appreciated:)
Well, that is not my husband, but my son. That was taken at a Japanese restaurant at parents weekend last fall at his university (he was 17 in that pic, he is 18 now).
We have chop sticks in our mouths. It is something that we have done since he was very little. I was many a walrus in my day with him and actually have a number of stories I used to play out with those in my mouth, lol.
“Perhaps people would not be so giving should they know that J$K are selling their kids’ souls bit by bit weekly for a mile high piece of the pie. Though, I do have to admit that anyone viewing the show would have to be a complete idiot not to see it themselves.”
I do not see them as doing this, therefore according to your words I have to be a complete idiot! I am sorry for the derogatory things I said to you earlier (it was a bad day here), I do apologize for the insinuations I made. They were uncalled for and not how I normally am, so please forgive that. But I did get very upset when I saw that statement.
You are entitled to you opinion, Michelle.
As I stated in my “Who is Bohemian Moon” entry, it was always my hope that people can come, muse, and comment without censorship, and I would like that to continue, obviously, no matter what the topic.
FWIW, I was not calling you personally an idiot, there is a difference.

You have sent this request to me 6 times. I even emailed you asking to what you were refering and it was bounced back to me.
What email address???
Hey Bomhemianmood,
Thanks for speaking up for those who are too young to do so. I have watched J & K and was never comfortable with it. I do have a well formulated view now….which is they are exploiting their adorable children. They are growing up on a film set…how odd. I view it as a strange science experiement that needs to be stopped. What will be the end result if they do this year, after year, after year? I am not aware of any human being that has grown up, essentially from birth, on a film set. I hope that does not happen, but that is the worse case scenario. They could get stuck with lots of mental baggage…that’s for sure. Anyhow, keep up the good work.
#16 JC~
Hey there JC, thanks for your insightful comments.
Yes, these children are being forced to live a real life “Truman Show” and how anyone can agrue that it is not exploitation is beyond me.
The parallel between the Dionne Quintuplets and the Gosselin Sextuplets/twins to much too close for comfort.
Are children are NOT chattle. The sooner parents realize this, the better.
I love your blog! Definately a breath of fresh air from GWoP. Your sense of humor reminds me of…….me
I’m book marking your page now…

Thanks for your comments and I do hope that you will stick around and continue to weigh in:)
BohemianMoon,
Just wanted to let you know there is an update on Paul Petersen’s site in case you wanted to post it, it’s on the left hand side, down at the bottom.

Thanks so much Lynnie~ As my Scottish Hubs would say ” You,re
I did read this this morning in the height of my insomnia, and was planning to post it today.
a star!
I didn’t want the Regis and Kelly thing to get lost.
Please, Please, Please Please write in, if you haven’t already!
Hey,
I have been hanging out online reading both sides of the J&K debate durnig my pregnancy insomnia (my due date is 10/30 and i can’t wait..lol).. i am NOT a kate lover and really can’t stand the show… but it does make me appreciate my own daughter (and soon to be born son!)
i do not however understand the bullying and stalking that happened to pennmommy and her family.. that is heartbreaking..
as for your belief in the supernateral, i personally believe in faeries and magic so i’d love to hear more about your spirits.. off to read the rest ofyour blog and to book mark it

# 22 Anne~
Hey there! Congrats on yoru new addition to the family. May the birth be swift and uneventful:)
I am not fond of the word “supernatural” as it carries a weird connotation for a lot of people, and a LOT of intolerance. Much of which, I have had many tastes of, particularly in comments on my blog and my name taken and dragged all over the internet by folks that, instead of asking what things are about or where I am coming from, simply find it more useful to take their closed mind and try and smear my name and ideology any where they can.
Such as life. Intolerance and ignorance is why there is no peace in the world.
Thanks for the welcome.. i read alot everywhere and rarely post (mostly because my brain has been suffering from pregnancy related stupidity and most what i write makes sense to no one but myself..lol)
and i can understand and respect your dislike for the word supernatural.. i would love to hear more about your experiences with your spirits in your house and life.. things like that fascinate me.. i also love old houses.. at one point in my life i was in college to restore historic houses.. but unfortunatly i was young, dumb and wild and ended up not finishing that degree… but the fascination with old buildings and their histories still remains..
and as we are losing our health insurance on the 25th of this month, i really hope this baby makes a quick enterance to this world.. and a healthy one too!
BohemianMoon,
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I stumbled onto it via Pennmommy’s situation (My heart breaks for her). Anyway, I can see our opinions are pretty similar about JK, but I was more interested in your ghosts and the fact that you’re an Empath. The paranormal (is the word ok ? Supernatural doesn’t have negative connotations for me, but I can see where you’re coming from) has always fascinated me and I would love to hear more !
Anyway..just wanted to say Hi, and I look forward to your posts. Quite well written and fun. It’s kind of a nice change of pace considering some others that I’ve seen.
As a wanna-be artist, nature-worshipping, theologist-debating smart-ass I just wanted to say that I love your personality and hope to raise my son with the same mentality you seem to carry through in your family. Your blog is great, I love to see passionate intelligence strewn across the internet like this!

Thanks for your kind comments:) I went to your Deviant Art site! Thanks for the link
I hope others from here will visit as well!
Dear Moon,I have been trying to register on yours and David’s site.I am having trouble.keeps telling me I have not
Sorry Moon ,as you can tell I am a ,learning as I go along kind of gal, anyways the registrating program keeps telling me I have
an invalid public key and the string you entered for the image verification did not match.I did not see anything to match or trust me I would have matched it ,even if it meant I had to cut and paste.Though I must warn you nobody in my family allows me to cut and paste anything,I am apparenyly inept with scissors and messy with glue.I would be grateful if you could tell me what I am doing wrong.
I have not, so far been interested enough to attemt to become part of a community on the internet but psychic wisdom.net interest me.Oh yeh, did I mention I was born in Scotland,I know no reason to bring that up,unless of course it gets me an in.You know I’ m just kidding and beginning to ramble,as is my want.
thankyou for peaking my interest,no matter the outcome
sincerely Anne McMillan
Moon, I recently published a new blog of religious debates between an… “associate” and I. Since I’m an Atheist/Agnostic and she’s an adamant Christian, I’d love some perspective from a different spiritual identity. I’m really trying to get the ball rolling on an active audience here, but I’m not as good at promoting this kind of thing. Anywho, I’ve always enjoyed your point of view so hopefully you get a chance to scan through a couple of our arguments and set us straight
- there’s a lot there…
Oh, and I put my website at my name, but in case it’s not noticeable it’s http://www.commonreligion.blogspot.com
Rose~
I certainly in not in any position to “set anyone straight” spiritually, lol. But I would be happy to visit your blog and read. If I have something to contribute, I will
IMHO, the con artists of the century!!!
I used to be a govt compliance/auditor and once, was
sent to a small business to collect $47. Now that trip inself was probably $500 to $1000. But it was important to close the books.
Maybe the current IRS is not interested due to their complexities??? It would certainly be fun to tackle.
What are the websites of k’s sisters and parents??
Also j’s family.
Do they offer anything different??
It appears that “Truth Breeds…” stays quiet.
Thanks much - love the postings - gets us
to thinking.
louise~
Any sites that I knew of Kate’s family are private, except Julie’s.
I don’t know of any of Jon’s.
Good Morning Moon: Reading the ‘Duggars w/o Pity’
site about the kids wedding and wondering if that same
manipulation carried over from the g’s. Apparently, TLC trying to protect their back sides.
Let’s hope the ‘octs’ parents, who no doubt can also the many
freebies associated with the births, are more selective.
Still encrusted in ice here in OK. Keep up the good work.
louise~
I am unsure of what you mean about the Duggar wedding, could you expound on that?
We are under about 8 inches of snow, with it still coming down about an inch per hour, here. These are the days that I love that we work from home. It is very, very pretty, though, and luckily we live rurally enough that we never have to deal with the “ugly snow” of car exhaust and a trillion boot prints.
Last Sept, one of the Duggar boys - Josh married a Florida girl Anna (Keller, i believe). Apparently a couple people in the wedding party refused to sign waivers, were told they could not participate in the wedding party - its on Duggar w/o Pity site.
One of the sons-in-law has quite a lengthy posting.
It’s interesting - as its claimed that the Duggars sold out to TLC re the incident. May be on interest.
Still cold, sun is out - see my truck windshield is now clear -
can’t get to truck however, I face north and sidewalks still
a sheet of ice. Had both hip joints replaced two yrs ago so am
very leery about walking on ice. Last chance to avoid an accident - stay inside!! However, I did venture out a few steps to dump out a partial bag of bird food. Poor babies.
Enjoy your postings.
louise~
Ahhh, I see. Well perhaps this family is selling out as well. I don’t know as I don’t watch them regularly. I had seen the “documentaries” on them a few years ago, pre-house that they live in now, and enjoyed seeing all of the kids helping to work on it. I thought that it was a wonderful part of their home schooling, actually, and brought forth a lot of subjects in one project. Hands on learning is some of the most profound, I feel. I did enjoy that they really seemed to walk their talk, and their clothing, etc never bothered me at all. Perhaps because I live in an area with a healthy Mennonite community, I am used to seeing very modest dress, and I have to say that the Duggars do give the modest dress and modern “twist”, more so than the Mennonites or the Amish, of course. What I never could, or would for that matter, agree with is their sect of Christianity’s stance on homosexuality and a few other aspects of it, though I have always admired them for living their truth fully - they have always come across as sincere, IMO.
It is unfortunate that if the allegation is in fact the truth, that they would opt for the filming and airing of a TV show over their blessed guests that they cared enough for to invite to be a part of such a sacred occasion. I suppose time will tell if money and exposure will change this family as well
Sorry to hear about the hips! Ouch. Hubs has a bad, bad knee from a horrific car accident he was in and walks with a walking stick (or cane) when the weather is challenging. Though, bless his heart, he walks with the dogs three times a day, like clock work. We have a gravel drive which helps with the ice situation, so that is a blessing, anyway, as it is easier to navigate as it doesn’t usually freeze with ice.
Be careful you!
On occasion I have watched both the Duggars and the Roloffs.
I find the Duggars too sweet and the Roloffs human but messy.
For some reason, the messiness relates to confusion in life = my
analogy.Of course, then one compares them to the g’s who are
unreal in my estimation. But I guess it takes all kinds to make the world go around. I never have seen the first two documentaries of the g’s but seems like the kids were darling at their young ages - but they too, grow up and the folks also
evolve - much to our disappointment. In light of what we see weekly, I would think the people of PA would totally shun the g’s.
I grew up in N Illinois, married young and had three children by 21. Helped the kids dad thru school then started college myself. Took fourteen yrs for a BS and 18 mo. for the MS, and who knows, maybe I’m the one who is too square.
Been in OK for thirteen yrs - love the winters - not much of any snow - mucho ice, but the summers can be atrocious. Seems that people here do terrible things to their children. Maybe its the drug culture that I didn’t grow up with.
Take care - thanks for your posts - very provocatively.
IMHO, I’d think if someone could cut off head snake’s head to
disarm him/her, other progress could be made???
The g’s don’t realize how well they have it - healthy, wealthy - not particularly wise though. Perhaps when the taxman cometh!! Remember years or so ago when Willy Nelson had his
tax problems!!!
The Mom of the Oct’s = takes precedence?? That is a sad
situation - IMHO - sterialization??? Ludicrous!!
Fertility drugs thru the internet???
A note from the topix-wernersville site that jon is frequently
been making the the local bar scenes with behavior that is not consistent with their so-called image. Perhaps a follow-up.
Hi Moon! Just a quick note to tell you I really enjoy your site.
When I worked for a tax and estate lawyer in Washington, D.C. in the late 1960s, one of my perks was living in a post-Revolutionary War mansion that was used as a hospital during the Civil War. From the first day I moved in with my friends, we had ghostly occurrences, chandeliers swinging, cold spots, voices coming from nowhere, footsteps through locked doors. I have written about my experiences on other blogs, but I do believe in the spirit world and I believe you have these three in your home. Enjoy them! I’ll bet they get a big kick out of you!
Cheers, Janice
Janice M~
I was raised in DC and in Arlington VA
And I was raised in large old houses - every single one of them. While none of our houses had distinct spirits, one of my best friend’s home did. Their home was used as a hospital and a morgue in the Civil War. It was crazy some of the stories that I could tell.
Here in Western NY, we are very close to ancient Native American burial grounds and we are connected more to the Revolutionary War, than the Civil. It is an area that is very high in paranormal activity, and an area where normal everyday people believe because it is so prevalent here in the homes. We have more historic homes in this area, then new structures. Even our courthouse is haunted and is part of the Ghost Tours that well known historian/author named Mason Winfield runs in the summer through this area and in Niagara/Buffalo. In other words, more people believe than don’t.
Even the guy from Sears last summer installing our new furnace asked about who was in our basement. That would be creepy guy, lol, who hangs out in the garage and my studio which is above the garage. He doesn’t come into the main house very often, though, mostly just in the vestibule in the summer time.
Moon, since you were raised in D.C. and Virginia, maybe you remember the Foxhall Road area above Georgetown. The mansion was called “Uplands” — it was on five acres of land next to the German Embassy. A typical Colonial home, three stories, four bedrooms, eight fireplaces. The library consisted of the entire back of the house, with fireplaces at both ends. Fabulous fun for four single women in their 20s, no rent, no utilities, fabulous antiques. Ah, what memories.
Uplands was in probate for many years and was finally sold to the German Government , who promptlly tore it down. Lots of tears on my part, but at least I have my memories.
And maybe those Civil War soldiers who died at Uplands can finally rest in peace. Or maybe they are haunting the “Germans” for demolishing this treasure!
Janice M~
I highly doubt with tearing down such an historic structure any of those soldiers got any peace! Pissed off is more like it.
I hate when important historic structures are trashed, particularly in such a historic city such as D.C.
It is a true tragedy.
After this home is renovated, Hubs and I will be looking for something even older
Ooops. I’m mutli-tasking at work and I accidently printed this
whole page. Oh well, I guess I get to take Moon to the bathroom!
HA!
HEY, WHERE CAN I SEND SOME COUPONS FOR DOG BONES TO KATE? DOES SHE STILL HAVE THE PUPPIES?
Moon,
I enjoyed reading this slice of your life.
I enjoy your site and candid, shamelessly unapologetic approach.
Your erudite flair and creative prose is a compliment to your convictions and passions.
Give, “creepy dude” my congrats on his wise selection of abode and live wire housemates. I remain jealous of your spirit occupants. I own multiple homes and have narry a ghost in any of them and would be thrilled to bits to meet or sense one.
Good luck and boundless positive energies to you and yours.
Nina~
Awwwwwwww, thank you!

Do you have a paranormal investigations group in your area?
Moon
I have to check into that. What would they do?
Very interesting about your spirits. I wonder how do you communicate with them, like when you invited Tom into your art studio and noticed that his behaviour seemed to change did you get a message or is it more like an intuitive feeling? I hope that question makes sense. The reason I ask is because my mother’s house has an obvious ghost that can be heard walking down the hall, banging cupboard doors and once knocking from inside the pantry. The last one was a new thing that I think was for my benefit because I was vocal about wanting it gone. I find it creepy and my young brother does too. My mother doesn’t want to offend it because she thinks it could be the spirit of her boyfriend’s brother and in that case a good spirit. Any hints about living peacefully would be appreciated.
BunnyGossip~
Intuitive for the most part.

Hey Moon! I’ve been reading your site for a few months now. Love it!! I’m always down for some snark!
I’m curious about your location. My husband and I met at SUNY Fredonia and visited Lilydale several times. Are you near? There’s a boatload of history in the area. No surprise that some folks stuck around… Sophomore year I lived in a house that had been the local jail in the 18-somethings. The eight of us were NOT the only inhabitents. Nobody malicious, but definitely aware of our presence in their space.

We live about 2.5 hours north of Lillydale. Lillydale is such a cool little place:) Now your house you lived in sounds interesting. Old jails are pretty active, for sure as are hospitals, etc. I get teased all of the time online about spirits, ect. I can only assume that most are from folks that never lived in an active place, cause if they had…………………………….
Do you still live in the area?
No, we’re in NE Ohio now. It’s my hometown. Hubby is from Webster (about 1 1/2 hours east of you) so we used to get up there regularly. The outlaws moved to WV a few years ago. They are pretty near Harper’s Ferry and I keep meaning to go ghost-hunting while we are down there, but it hasn’t happened yet.
Moon, I was skeptical about ghosts until a year after my father and best friend had died. Somehow I became an outcast with my mother and my sister who lives with her (she has never left home) a dear friend of mine directed me to someone who talks to ghost so I went to see him. I went 400 miles to see him and he told me things that only I knew. He also described my grandmother to me and she has been gone for almost 50 years, needless to say I became a believer, AND that to my “ghost whisperer” he has taken a lot of the burden and worry off my shoulder. He has told me that he goes annually to upstate NY to a meeting/convention/gathering…what ever it is called… of people who do this. So my advice to Michelle don’t thumb your nose at this ability, it is a gift. Moon thank you for your thoughts and comments by others, I find it all to be quite interesting. God’s Blessings to you and your family.
Dorine~

Though not really “Upstate” New York, I wonder if he is talking about Lilly Dale?
Perhaps, it is Lilly Dale, but from Ohio, anything is upstate NY to us…lol
Just wondering…why invest so much energy on a family you despise? I am not a fan of the Gs, but is it necessary to devote so much time to this topic? I’m sure there are more positive, productive activities to which you can devote your time. So many people claim to hate the Gs, but are shockingly capable of giving blow-by-blow accounts of the latest episode. Talk about counterproductive and a complete waste of time. The more people that tune in (whether you are a fan or not), the longer the Gs will have their show on air.
Just wanted to send a quick hello and thank you for your site. Yes I stumbled on you via GWOP and all the rest, but I myself take an unbiased stance, simply interested in all the drama for drama’s sake. I just finally clicked on your about you section, and smiled when i read it. I too have taken up a bit more than I expected in our suburbia haven with 2+ acres and 3 cats. I grew up in AC, NJ and Philly and Manhattan, so this city girl is totally trying to “keep up” in wester massachusetts^^. I also have more than a bit of the empath in myself, and have been a solitary for 15 years. I have two kids who seem to be following in my sensitivity footsteps, and find it comforting to be reminded that I’m not the only one.
Thank you for your humorous take on these factoids and media figures, and thanks for the good giggle before coffee!

Welcome !
It is not easy being empathic, particularly in crowds! And congrats on suburbia as well. My son was born in Western MA and went to college there for a couple of years. I love the Berkshires
