It’s official: Kate Gosselin is the worst spokesperson of all time
After a month, the opinion piece “Kate Gosselin, Most Polarizing Spokesperson Ever?” has finally fallen out of the top-10 most-read stories on Brandweek.com. After 490 comments, the opinion box attached to the article may have just blown up. Or maybe people ran out of venom. What is painfully obvious is that when a company like Procter & Gamble attaches itself to the reality star of Jon & Kate Plus 8, they are inviting a world of criticism.
Like this: “Add me to the list of people who have contacted P&G to express my disapproval of Kate Gosselin as a spokesperson many months ago. So not only is P&G making stupendously stupid hiring decisions, they are lying about the backlash too. Just another reason not to buy their products.” And that was one of the nicer comments. (Many people seem to think Gosselin exploits her children by allowing their lives to be filmed.)
Another viewer piled on when she said, “She might not be the worst spokesperson ever, but she sure has the worst haircut ever.” Ouch.

Cool!
Hey – did Lisa write one of those comments?? LOL!
Wonderful news Kenneth!!! We are making progress.
How anyone can support the g’s is amazing. Let’s hope all of this will snowball. Thanks, Thanks for this info.
Must be making big bucks. J’s Utah condo (GWOP),
k’s place at the beach and the kids in the middle. Wow!!
Enter IRS and pull the plug please!!!
Kate has about as much business being a spokesperson for P&G coupon clipping as Bernie Madoff has for speaking on behalf of Merrill Lynch (or whatever it’s called these days).
Um, um, what’s um….wrong with my ummmm hair??? She has no abilities as a spokesperson. She can yap her ass off on that couch but as soon as she is given a script or is being interviewed she is Dull as Dishwater! Even IF she was a good person, Even IF she was a good mom and wife….She would STILL SUCK at being a spokeswoman!
I wrote another letter to P&G, but no response back yet. I suggested that if they wanted to use someone that others can relate to, and are really pinching pennies, to get some of our military wives, I’m sure like many of us, they are also pinching pennies, would be more relatable, I’m also sure they could use the money or freebies offered for doing that. I just think that would be a great idea for them to do.
I also let them know of the products that I would no longer be useing.
It’s nice to see our work is paying off, and our opinions do count. WTG everyone!

Absolutely! I wrote an entry way back when regarding their impending interview in Good Housekeeping. I suggested that they honor some military wives that have been going through hell as their husband’s risk their lives for our country.
Apparently they didn’t listen
Kate is a control freak and a disrespectful “B” to her family and to her husband the most. Jon would have been gone a long time ago if not for the t.v. contract and the thought of the child support. Could you imagine Kate as an ex wife. She’s bad enough as a wife. She’s just not a good personand and not someone I want me or my family to emulate. She makes me sick to my stomach so I quit watching. If anything she could be a teaching tool for how a parent and spouse should not be. Directions: Watch Kate, do the opposite!!
Chuck~
I agree that she is a perfect example of not to parent and her treatment of her spouse has always made me cringe. I don’t, however, feel that Jon is innocent in all of this. He is a man that lack ambition, and he loves this gravy train just as much as Kate. He loves the money and perks without having to work himself to achieve anything of his own making, except for the children. He helped make them and put them to work instead. Kate is gone all of the time and the man has help 4-6 hours per day. Who is doing any parenting there?
Clearly not the parents
These companies keep sticking with Kate:

More Kate Gosselin~
Thanks!
