Well, well, well!
In the interview I posted two days ago with Jon Gosselin vacationing in Park City, Utah, he clearly states that he was not planning to move to Utah. Well apparently not totally, anyway.
Jon was in Utah skiing with Cara for an obvious paid vacay as the TLC film crew was in tow. As a part of Jon’s vacay, he picked up a vacay condo.

Perhaps Jon does have balls after all. Because that is one ballsy move to take money that could be for his children’s future and buy a vacation condo right after buying a 1.3 million dollar home. A home he bought from pimping his children’s childhoods and privacy to the highest bidder.

When the Discovery Channel sent the Gosselin family to Park City last winter, it turns out it was familiar territory for one family member. Jon Gosselin, father of twins and sextuplets on the hit show, “Jon and Kate plus Eight” was an avid snowboarder long before he ever set foot in Utah.
The Pennsylvania native grew up snowboarding at Eastern ski resorts, mixing in trips to places like Jackson Hole, Beaver Creek, Vail, and even Chamonix Mt Blanc in France all before age 19. Then “real life,” as he calls it, in the form of a wife and more kids than he could count came into the picture and the snowboard was stored. But after The Canyons Resort invited the family and the show to visit last year, an old love affair with the mountains was rekindled after 10 years away.
Gosselin, 31, said he took to the slopes like he had never left.
“It all came back,” he said.
The more thrilling part is that his daughter, Cara, age 8, is a natural on the slopes.
Since that trip, Gosselin had been wanting to make skiing and snowboarding a daddy-daughter bonding experience, and last week he finally did something about it.
With the Discovery Channel film crew in tow, Gosselin and Cara headed back to The Canyons. When it was time for Cara to head back to school, Gosselin made the decision to stay a few days and make a more permanent mark on the area. He will be purchasing a condo within The Canyons village to give his family a little home away from home in Utah. Well, at least Jon and Cara, that is. Gosselin’s wife, Kate, is an admitted indoors type and he figures she won’t be in on too many ski vacations.
“I’m looking for a father-daughter place,” Gosselin said.
Gosselin says the plan is to have a place to visit each winter and to continue riding on a regular basis. He says that he really enjoys Park City and the Canyons, and even in his 30s, he says that he fits right in with the young crowd on the mountain.
“It’s nice because I have eight kids, two dogs and live in Pennsylvania, and I can still hang with 15-year-olds,” he said.
Gosselin has been riding with friends and pro riders at the resort and spending the evenings discovering what Park City and Salt Lake have to offer. But he is most excited to set some vacation roots right here.
“You can do whatever you want here. I go places you can connect with people and it feels like a family,” Gosselin said.
He had never been in Utah before last year and once said in an interview that all he knew about Utah was “powder, Mormons and Moab.” Since then, his world has opened up to the warm community and top-notch snow and it looks like Gosselin will soon be a part-time resident.

Perhaps they will rent out the condo when they are not there. That will be income for the Gosselins as well as help pay for the mortgage. I’m not defending the G’s. Just pointing out what they most likely are doing with it. It’s an investment.

It’s looking more and more to me as though he and Kate are living separate lives without separating. My guess is that their next purchase will be a place Someplace Warm for Kate, with the family home in PA as the children’s base of operations. Jon and Kate will just keep taking turns being the stay-at-home parent (with Jon taking 9 turns for every 1 of Kate’s) so that they can talk about how great it is that the kids have their parents at home and never went into daycare, without admitting that they can no longer stand each other, and that their marriage is over.
Look at their body language during the couch interviews. They coudn’t be more disconnected from each other if they were in different states.

Well since ALL the money goes to the kids anyway, I wonder why this money did not go straight into the trust funds for the kids. Who knows what the economy and/or housing market will be in the future, in addition to the expendable funds person’s have to rent vacation homes for a winter vacation in Utah. Then lets add in the monies paid for the up keep, monthly condo association fees and fees paid for the rental agencies that may work to rent it out as a vacation home.
Meanwhile that money could be gaining interest even if in just a high yield savings account. You know, for the children’s college and beyond. It IS their money after all.

Well, you know, God provided the new condo so apparently even God knows that the snow he provides in the east is not worthy of Golden Boy Jon. That is why God provided in Utah, donchaknow!
I’m sure they’re thinking they’ll rent out the condo when they’re not using it … but in this economy, ski vacations are surely going to be on the chopping block in many budgets. These goombas seem to consistently rely on a rose-colored glasses view of their financial prospects. I can’t help but think that the more prudent thing to do would be to rent a condo themselves for the times they plan to be in Utah.
Unless, that is, Jon plans to spend a LOT of time in Utah. After all, they can hire people to take care of the kids back home. He and his 9th grade buddies have some riding to do!
Actually by hiding the money in trust funds and property in a corporation’s name – THEY are succeeding at keeping the IRS at bay. About the only thing they have not done (yet) is start a non-profit for them to be “directors” of so they can siphon more money. Basically, they are getting all these materialism – while the kids get nada!
Plus Jon is eyeing the 15-yr olds? EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!
I take offense to Jon’s remark about daycare.
Some of us have no choice. As a single mother, with no help from the dad, what am I supposed to do? Quit my JOB?

I’ve skied The Canyons and if you’re going to buy a condo there, it’s much more convenient (and private) if it’s ski-in/ski-out. I just checked on MLS for that area and they start at around $1M. I’m dying to hear how the sheeple are going to defend this one…I’m all ears. As a matter of fact, I’m sending out a DOUBLE DOG DARE!

Yep. Too bad it doesn’t work both ways regarding the child selling Gosselins. Pretty damn hard to find anything positive about these folks that isn’t a lie. They should have taken a couple workshops in Lying 101 before staring in this whole circus, it would have served them well.

So far the defense has been that it is a “investment” and can be rented out. My reply to that one is below.
Well, since I DO have an “investment” residence, I know first hand that, at best, you break even if you own ONE unit. Sure! It’s an investment for later in life, and a handy little tax write off if you do indeed rent it out, but for the most part, you can’t “get one” unless you can pony up the dough for a down payment and prove you can make payments.
So, apparently six 4 year olds and two 8 year olds got together and had a corporate tax planning meeting, decided that this truly is the way to spend “their” money.
But rest assured, I’m sure ALL of the love offering money really DOES go to the kids, since Mom and Dad are naturally enjoying the income their current lives provide.
You know, I’m not upset that they make the big bucks. I dont’ think they are hiding HOW they make money, and since it is apparently legal, they don’t have to defend themselves to any of us. I do get upset they they are held up as good examples of parents, Christians, spouses, and well, people.

Oh my Lord – I can’t believe this news. I don’t know why, but it makes me hate them even more. I don’t usually actively dislike people from the media – but they – I do. I actually want to see them crash and burn – and that’s very rare for me.
The kids get the PA house – the parents take turns on a weekly basis to custody them.
He’s in Utah, she’s at the beach. What a deal!!
How much of this did TLC pay for?? I’d expect they are getting

He’s a poor little rich boy who never grew up. Dad paid for his
trips prior to marriage, left them a six figure insurance policy, when
he passed away in 01/2005 so its probably been earning interest since. Now the kids are responsible. With that track record,
K had to know she would be the primary breadwinner when they married – she then fanoogled her marvelous uterus so now it’s the kids turn IMHO.
Money and greed will be the all and end all of this marriage (and family.) I really don’t see it ending up any differently. And when the show ends, and the money is all spent (on stupid purchases like this one) they will have no bank account, no friends, no family and no healthy relationship with each other nor their children.
I understand why you would be offended, fxfanatic. I fail to see a huge distinction between “not having the kids in daycare” and what they ARE doing, which is — by their own admission — having in-house help manage most of the day-to-day activities with the kids. In long version of the tv interview Jon claims to defrost meals and run carpools, but he says that the sitter is there to “like, play with the kids so I can get stuff done around the house.”
Jon and Kate don’t seem to understand that “always having a parent at home” and “having a fully tuned in and involved parent at home” are not always synonymous.
It’s an investment? If that is an investment, then Jon knows nothing about investing money, or someone really played him in Utah. I think is just plain old ‘wasting my kids future’, but why not, J&K have already ’stole their childhoods’.

You know what was really interesting? Mickey Rourke, who just won a Golden Globe for “The Wrestler” freely admitted that once he started taking roles for money and materialism, things went down hill for him. Couple that with his arrogance and the fact that he just spent, spent, spent, on Jay Leno last night he admitted that he could not even get a job working construction a couple of years ago – he tried. The director took a major chance with him for this most recent project as no one wanted to back him because of Mickey Rourke brought no money from the studio heads. Obviously he took the chance and it paid off. Mickey Rourke graduated from the Actor’s Studio and really is one hell of a talented actor. But he let money and materialism lead him and it got him no where.
Finally, broke and humbled, someone took a major risk, and it paid of. Lets hope he remembers the lesson.
Jon and Kate are no talents. They have nothing to offer besides those children, and that isn’t going to last that much longer. When the money stops, where are they going to be? Worse, were are the CHILDREN going to be? Will they have anything in exchange for stolen childhood besides astronomical therapy bills?
I hope so.
So does this mean they now have college funds for the kids since they were still claiming to not have the money for that very recently? I sure hope so, because ski vacations and buying condos definitely shouldn’t come before the kids’ futures!
And, may I ask, who is looking after Cara when Jon explores the bars in Park City in the evenings? Does a “helper” travel with them?
While “exploring the bars” and “meeting people,” I am sure this includes some hot young girls. Further proof that they are each leading their separate lives. It’s all a huge sham. The more these two flap their gums, there’s another nail in their coffin.

Here is the link to real estate at Canyon Ranch. The prices are outrageous and even most of the 1 bedroom/1 bath units are more expensive than a detached home. Add to the fact you are probably talking somewhere in the 500-700 square foot ranch for a one bedroom.
Perhaps Cara explained to her father that SHE wanted a vacation home in Utah, hence his zealous-ness to purchase. Because as we have all seen, giving into their children’s demands is the status quo at the G’s. Add to that, Jon’s apparent interest in hanging out with 15 year olds.
Hey Jon!? If you wait a few years you’ll have a houseful of them. Course, they won’t want to be seen with you at that point.
I can’t imagine spending the remainder of my life being thought of as a pariah of some size, shape or description. Jon & Kate are just clueless enough that I am sure it hasn’t even entered their pea brains.
I can hear the giddy’s now: Ohhh, how wonderful that father and daughter can spend some quality time together. (Helll-ooo? He has 7 other kids!! Do they each get a home-away-from-home?)

Well, lets hope so. Since nothing definitive was ever revealed about the State of Pennsylvania TAP funds – how much went to those funds through the donations that the Governor asked people make (can you believe that shite?) – and what happened to those donations – I do hope that money has been secured for the children for the future, whether they choose college or not.
A vacation rental is not the best investment, certainly in this economy which will take years and years to stabilize. Meanwhile that money could be growing and gaining interest, even if, like I said previously, it was in only a high yield savings account.

Wonder if her asking about a playhouse in the backyard will be their excuse for that being her home? I feel so bad for her. I watched part of the orthodontist appt on youtube, and all I see is more things for the kids at school to make fun of her about, and parents that don’t give a crap about it.

Oh right I forgot they are parents and that is their job. WTFFF!!! I have kids. I don’t have a camera crew following me around. Is this because I didn’t have them all at once?? How stupid of me!! Not sorry I am butting in, but so what if they rent it out when they aren’t there? That is what intelligent condo owners do if they aren’t in the position to fork over cash for whatever, whenever.
Generally speaking though, rental payments don’t necessarily cover all your own out of pocket expenses, such as mortgage payment AND fees to a management company to handle rentals.
And on top of that, there is the general wear and tear on a rental that you don’t see with a property that is solely for the owners use. Son, now you have to add in upkeep. Painting, repairs, etc.
I for one have never had to look very hard to find something negative about the Gosselin parental units. All one has to do is open their eyes.

Moon – I love Mickey Rourke. He has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid and saw him in The Pope Of Greenwich Village. I’m glad he’s back and I’m glad someone gave him a chance. Mickey Rourke is very talented. Jon and Kate are just scum of the earth. This will end for them soon. I just can’t believe their fans can go on being as stupid as they have been regarding these two.
As far as spending their money on something like this. How long will it be before we see Jon riding around in a brand new Benz or Kate a brand new BMW justifying their purchases by saying that they needed something smaller and compact to zip around town and run their errands in, or drive to NYC for the day to do press? Of course they can hide any new car purchases in that 3 car garage of theirs, but they’ve (so far) hid their purchases pretty well up until this point. I betcha a new car (or 2) purchase is right around the corner. They’ve tasted wealth, and for low-lifes like these, there is no turning back! Watch out world, here comes the Gosselin spin-wagon, buying up whatever they like all in the name of ‘for the children!’

Yeah, it was priceless in that interview where Jon said (paraphrase) “I am not driving around in a Porshe. My van is a 2003 model” (Or something like that) and then the same day an article is written revealing that he just bought a condo in Park City.
I do hope the children received more in the brains department than either Jon and Kate. Both of whom have none.

Elsa, we think alike. Kate’s going to get her warm place and they’ll alternate with the non-favorite kids in the Pa. home base. I know this won’t be a popuar opinion, but, I think this is the best thing they’ve ever done for themselves and the kids. This is what I’d do if I had eight kids who stressed me and a wife/husband I couldn’t stand. And, of course, the millions of dollars in greed money to do it. Most people wouldn’t have put themselves in this position, but, the dumb ass Gosselins did. Now, finally, they’ve figured a part time way out of the mess. Maybe they can be a little happy and treat the children a little better when they’re with them. I hope so. Still….I’m pretty sure Mady is out of luck no matter how many homes they have. Ahhh, if the money runs out. That I do not know because most people in their position would still have money when the show goes kablooey, but, they are the definition of stupid. One would think “best selling author” would keep you out of foreclosure forever, let alone all the other money making things the Gosslen empire has going…but, Jon and Kate are dumb as stumps. Just listening to them is painful because of their dull, slow, non English speaking, repetitive, backwards blah blah. You got me there, Moon. Maybe they could have another set of multiples. I really think they’re the stupidest people on TV, maybe that’s a show in itself. Oh, wait..it already is.

I highly doubt that the publisher offered them a great contract for the first book, being a first book and all and the fact that the Gosselins shopped the book for a long time before it was picked up.
I can’t imagine the picture book with scriptures will sell well. People are not going to shell out money for that.

How lovely Jon bought a ski condo for father/daughter alone time. Did he forget that he has THREE SONS at home who desperately need a MAN’S influence? Oh, that’s right, it’s JON. Nevermind. No MALE influence there.
Ask Jenn re: renting the condo. Does she REEEEEEALY think Kate would allow someone else’s cooties to sleep in her vacay bed? How about bathing in her garden tub? I don’t think so. Realistically, those who posted that it wouldn’t be financially feasible are correct; an owner would be lucky to break even after taxes, listing agent, advertising, not to mention cleaning crew/repairperson are paid. Do you have any idea how much THE NEW YORKER charges for a single issue “Condo For Rent” ad?
How about that “handsome” picture of Jon in his $250.00 mohair ski cap? I’ll bet he felt all warm and fuzzy paying for it with his TLC VISA card. Kind of like he feels every time he buys another round of drinks in those bars he frequents at night – like he has finally come home to a family that loves him. Oh! And how they appreciate him – he’s just SO witty with his stories of ALL those kids! He has EIGHT, ya know…
REEEEEEEEEEEALY? Jon Gosselin is the creepiest tool in the shed.
“You can do whatever you want here. I go places you can connect with people and it feels like a family,” Gosselin said.
This was the quote that I can’t figure out. Is his home life so bad that he doesn’t feel like he’s part of a family anymore? Or is he so emotionally depraved that total strangers feel like family to him? I’d be curious to hear what others think about this.
Karma is a bitch and I hope that if they decide to rent out their condo, that whoever rents it trashes the place.
Not to be mean, but does anyone recall when the gang was in North Carolina, Kate’s attitude was “mansion be damned” because it wasn’t hers?

Pricing for a four bed/four bath Utah place starting about $2.3 million.
Next will be flight lessons and a plane to traverse back and forth.
Maybe it ’s a time-share although highly unlikely – they want it
here and now whenever they can get away.
Haven’t heard maybe the etown house is still empty and they’ll move back with the custodial/visiting parent camping in the basement while the girls divide up the master and their two bed.
The boys will be satisfied with their room under the eaves.
Moving back to etown puts the kids alittle closer to relatives
for comaradarie.
Maybe Kate’s “renters” will have the same respect for her place that she had for the home in NC.
Only I’d like their pudding painting to be done in the BEDROOM!!!

I highly doubt that they will rent out this property. Jon and Kate want to pretend that they have hit the big time. They want what they want now, and they will stop at nothing to get it.
You know, it is like the instant gratification thing of teenagers and since they have never really supported themselves, I highly doubt that they know how to invest and manage money. Even if they had a good and honest accountant/adviser (I don’t know if they do have one, honest or not) that advised them prudently, if Jon and Kate want something, as I said, they will do anything to get it. Their history of this is clear.

Wait until the community does. The funny thing is, is that the Gosselins celebrity wise are, at best, z list. However they think they are much higher than that.

What ever happened to hiatus? Even in La La Land the shows take two-three month breaks don’t they?
They just moved and we know from all the ‘hints’ that have been dropped, that we will see the move to the new house. No, we hear about a father-daughter ski trip, which I assume was filmed over Christmas Break? I mean, he didn’t really take Cara out of school to go skiing did he?
Anyway, my point being? Just when was the down time for the kids between ’seasons’. Are we in a new season or does this season 4 just go on and on and on? They may only film 3-4 days a week ( according to those who don’t lie, normally ) but if that is 48 to 50 weeks a year, I would consider that to be alittle excessive.
And as an aside, if my life was filmed that much I wouldn’t find it very interesting without some contrived drama, trips to exotic and far away places, or free trips to the plastic surgeon either. Work it G’s!!!

I am not sure how long the Utah shoot with Cara was, but obviously from his interview, he was still staying another three days.
Last Saturday Kate did an “engagement” in Utica New York, and Jon was not there. At this engagement Kate stated that Jon was not there because he was on a shoot with Cara (there is a post on my Cafe Mom group from a gal that attended the “engagement”). Interestingly enough, while Jon was saying Kate was at home with the kids, Kate was telling her audience that Jon was not present because he was on a shoot in Utah with Cara.
One thing for sure is, neither of the parents were home watching the kids.
They really need to get their lies straight before they have separate interviews, lol. But me.thinks that they are even too stoopid for that.

Sorry Moon I hit the return by mistake. I believe what goes around comes around. What they need to do is spend more time with their kids. J&K will be in for a big surprise when these kids are teenagers. These children see how Jon and Kate treat their parents, let’s see how their children will treat them. Those kids are going to be so mad at them for putting all their private moments on tv. As a mom, my daughter gets upset if I show certain pictures of her when she was young. Just imagine how they will feel.

Yeah to bond with her other kids as long as she has a lot of help to actually pay attention to the kids while Kate is “bonding”.
There are going to be major issues when the show is over, these kids no longer get VIP treatment and free toys, let alone the teenage years.
It is going to be a mess to clean up once the show is over. The young kids know nothing else. How anyone would think that this is a healthy thing for kids is mind boggling.
I totally agree with you. This situation is unhealthy. When this show is over, J&K will write a book about how TLC took advantage of them. These two will always find a situation where they can make money off of others.

I’d love your opinion on what will ultimately happen with this show? And when? Ending it today wouldn’t be soon enough for me! I get frustrated hearing things like she’s working on her 3rd book or that there are huge lines of people to see her in person– it seems like this could go on forever. I don’t know what I’d like to happen. Secretly, I’d love to see J & K on the street-film THAT TLC, but not the kids. There isn’t a good outcome for them, cameras or not.
I listened to the entire interview I was amazed he stated that Bob keeps in touch, even that day or the day before. He said Bob sent him a text asking where he was but no mention of Beth. He also says his wife is a top selling author. Excuse me Beth said she wrote it and they lived it. Maybe he has 2 wives, Utah has been known for that right. Five times a day to his mom, that seems like a stretch, hopefully I’m wrong. I also noticed stage right or left hehe someone seems to be prompting him when he answers the Kreider family questions. PR person, family friend, plain old friend who knows.

This show will end when the tups enter kindergarten. Really people are only interested b/c the kids are still young and cute. As they get older and their personalities develop, it could turn some people off.

As for Kate writing her third book, she is riding the wave as someone else stated. She is going to sell everything that they can b/c they are hot right now. The goal of these parents is to make as much money as they can. Remember this is a large family as the kids get older it will COST MORE MONEY. The G’s may never have enough money to take care of these kids.
You are right the kids will suffer. But I’m sure J&K will benefit from that too.

Here is a family with sextuplets that are much more worthy of love offereings.. of course you won’t see them on TV.
If Jon regained any balls he lost or if he had any to begin with he would stand up to the new Queen of Mean bully (Katie Irene) and stand up for his children. He would make sure his kids, all of them, you know even the boys, are not bullied and badgered and psychologically damaged by this fake Christian hypocrite every day. Even if that meant he had to take the abuse from Kate, leave her and never look back, taking the kids with him, I would have some respect for him. But as usual it seems he is taking the easy way out in life. He figures he can take Kate’s crap as long as he doesn’t have to be around her too often and because it gets him out of working or doing much of anything with his life, he’ll sacrifice the kids and their futures. I don’t watch this show, but when I used to see it the kids seemed to me to be chewed up and spit out daily. They seemed to be more damaged as the weeks went on, twitching and screaming and hitting each other in the head as Kate always does Jon. The boys have adopted this blank stare and I think that is their way of staying out of trouble.
They did show a rerun which I caught of the kids at the beach in FL when they were 3. Aaden was beside himself crying “There’s too much sand”. I wondered about that odd thing he said until I realized he thought he was going to get in trouble for being dirty and didn’t see, with the expanse of beach he was on, how to avoid the sand! Then Collin had the same reaction in the golf cart to some dirt on his hand and he actually cried. One of them, from the blogs I read, recently refused to kick a soccer ball with Jon because there was dirt on the ball and the boy feared getting the dirt on his shoe. How is this behavior normal or good?
Jon, step up, save yourself if you can, but you must save these children.

The kids do have issues regarding getting dirty and yes one of them did refuse to kick the soccer ball because it had mud on it, then Jon yelled at him to “get over his phobia”. How confusing is that? Not to mention down right mean.

I hope they get some professional help if they do decide to get horses. They are obviously large animals and therefore can injure someone very easily, without meaning to, just simply by stepping on your feet. I have had alot of experience with them and they consume alot of time, mucking stalls, grooming, exercising, not to mention the twice daily feedings. While a horse may be someones dream pet, they take alot of work.

You may be right. As fast as they’re spending their money, on a $1.3M estate (and the tremendous upkeep it will require) and an expensive vacation condo in Utah, one would think these clowns believe the gravy train will never stop. They are the poster kids for the saying, “A fool and his money are soon parted.”
I wanted everyone to know where I came into all of this discussion. For years I watched this show and really felt okay with it. Some moment were awkward like the bathing moments, and some others. I thought even as Jon stated, hey we go to the park anyway, why not film it. Technically to make money off of someone else is expoliting them though and in this case, we agree the children had no say so, as well, I didn’t really see that.
As episodes went by I did see Kate changing, she became more vocal, more abrasive, more demanding. She began to complain about being exhausted while all I saw was Jon doing the loading, unloading, bathing, and dressing and many times while she was not around. I saw others fold, iron and put laundry away, all this help was there from the beginning, and so much more.
Then a visit to the website during the fiasco and the strange disaclaimer they had. I started to look around, things did not add up. I even saw the archieved webpages of donations in the thousands of dollars. I tried to blog rather unsucessfully and found this site.
I say this because two things have become rather clear to me. The first being alot of the rumors regarding them were discussed in her book. Jons’ loss of employment, her treatment of people after the remodling job, consignment shop, giving back. The book confirms the earlier rumors, so who was wrong? It appears the rumors about J&K were true by her own admission.
Secondly I never really felt these kids were being exploited, if you read my posts, that was one issue I never had. J&K being greedy yes, kids exploited no. Again I have been proven wrong, this time by Jon. When you use the term marketability in reference to your family or show which features your family, what am I to presume. Again thanks for setting me straight on that issue as well, I was wrong, you are exploiting your children.
I think that the interview with Jon changed many minds. I agree, using the term “marketability” is disgusting! I also felt like he was dissing the other families for being “nice” and “just sitting there” as he said. WTF. Does he really believe his family is that much more worthy of all this attention? J&K are total attention whores and their poor children are suffering because of it.

Someone told me about six or eight months ago that Jon and Kate themselves would bring about their own end and now I’m starting to believe it. They’ve lied so much that they can’t keep it straight. The book isn’t even consistent throughout or consistent with what they’ve said on the show or church appearances. They seem to have reached the point of arrogance where they think people will believe whatever they say which is usually the tipping point toward the end.
I called KUTV today and spoke with someone that said she was pass on my comments to the interviewer. Now I know some might find it hard (not necessarily here) to believe but she agreed with me. I told her some of the misrepresentations given to the viewer based soley on her book, and Jons’ interview. I also asked why the reporter did not do a little background prior to the interview.

She offered to put me through to the reporters voice mail. I will call back, I’m thinking myself Moon many people see them as we do. Alot of these interviews I think are set up by the PR people for advertisment, Ski Park City, more then the love for J&K. She did see my point I was like okay heres another. lol

Elsewhere a question was posed to its minions (that’s how they come off), if they like the show more now or less. Not surprisingly, they all agreed they liked the show more – mostly based on the “haters” reaction. How stupid is that? To like something just because others don’t.
There are some people on GWOP who post things about Kate’s hairstyle which I think is over the top. I think the nasty things posted about the kids is wrong too, but who can blame the posters? Their own parents have said some vile things, so that pretty much makes them fair game. While lately, the posts have more than their share of fluff, there are some questions that are raised that are valid. If it seems nitpicky, I think some people are really noticing the “little things” come into play within the “big lie” – the big Gosselin Lie.
I don’t know about you (general you) but if Jon and Kate were honest. Meaning – “we like the freebies, the trips, everything, we don’t clip coupons or use layaway, the sob stories are just so you are compelled to dig deeper, we don’t need the money, our kids be damned.” Then I personally wouldn’t have an issue. At least they are being honest. Would that change the sheeple’s opinion? Probably not because they’re all pretty much stupid for liking them so much now.

I do want to ask though, and I am stating it publicly for the reason only that I would like other bloggers and readers of Musings to read this, but I would prefer if we kept the mention or discussion of other Gosselin blogs off of Musings.
I do believe that other blogs, just as I with Musings, have the right to conduct their blogs in the manner in which they feel right for the owners, moderators (for those that have them – I am just me here), bloggers and readers. I don’t like when people try to tell me what, when and why I should or should not place something on my blog, and while other blogs delight in talking a great deal about other blogs, I am not interested in that happening at Musings with any regularity. I do hope you understand, and that I am not pointing you out in any way. It was just a good “jumping off” point to say something that I feel important to myself and Musings as a whole.
Again, I do hope that you understand.
As I understand it that, is a fair point Moon, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. LOL Just, the limited time I’ve been here all opinions are allowed and Moon has stated the kids are off limits. That earned alot of respect for me. I also have the impression that any opinion submitted with a respect of that subject is treated the same. And while she doesnt need me to parphrase I think she is just saying a discussion of another blog isn’t a topic here. This site exists for discussions of topics listed above. Smart way to operate Moon, avoids alot of problems.
